UK Care Provider Brings Its Innovative Integrated Care-Village Model to Malaysia and Places Caregiving at the Center of the Silver Economy

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Global Coalition on Aging (GCOA) is pleased to announce Venus Healthcare Homes (VHH) as a Forum Partner for Silver Economy Forum 2026 (SEF26) taking place, for the first time in ASEAN, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on November 11-12. The partnership between GCOA and VHH represents a shared commitment to leveraging “Health Longevity for Economic Growth,” this year’s SEF theme.

VHH, a specialist complex care provider based in the United Kingdom since 2006, has developed and is bringing an integrated care-village model to Malaysia and across the ASEAN region, which uniquely brings housing, clinical support, and community life onto a single site. Care is built into the design of the “village” from the start, so people can stay well and stay in their community as they age instead of moving between services that were never meant to connect.

A country captures the economic dividend of longer lives when that care reaches people across income levels, including the poorest.

The building of VHH’s care-village model is itself economic activity. The construction, clinical, and community roles a model like this creates puts people to work and adds to the local economy as the care itself takes shape.
